Dec-13 Saipem: Sale of Firenze Fpso to ENI Confirmed

 With reference to the sale of the Firenze FPSO business line to Eni, following the approval of the transaction by the Eni’s Board of Directors, Saipem confirms that the signature of the contract between the two companies is scheduled for tomorrow, 13 December 2013.

The contract and financial terms of the transaction are unchanged since yesterday’s announcement by the Company.

Saipem will lodge the information document regarding the transaction within the terms set out in Article 5 of the Consob Regulation on related party transactions.  

Saipem is organised into two Business Units  - Engineering & Construction and Drilling  - with a strong bias towards oil & gas-related activities in remote areas and deep-waters. Saipem is a leader in the provision of engineering, procurement, project management and construction services with distinctive capabilities in the design and execution of large-scale offshore and onshore projects, and technological competences such as gas monetisation and heavy oil exploitation.
