PNE AG has sold the rights to three wind farm projects in Romania to a large company that is involved in renewable energies around the world. Wind turbines with a nominal output of up to 220 MW can be built in the projects. In further development, PNE and the buyer will work together. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

PNE has continuously developed the projects in recent years and adapted them to the framework conditions, which have changed many times. Together, PNE and the buyer want to develop the projects further up to the financing decision for the construction. The buyer will be responsible for the financing, construction and subsequent operation of the wind farms. PNE rates the positive development of the market for renewable energies in Romania as positive.
