Through its subsidiary ERG Spain Holdco, S.L.U., today ERG has completed the closing with Renertia Gestion Solar II, SCR.-PYME S.A., a company of the Renertia Investment Company, for the acquisition of the entire share capital of Instalación Fotovoltaica Arericsol VIII, S.L.U. This company owns a photovoltaic solar plant in Fregenal de la Sierra, in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, with an installed capacity of 25 MWp.

As previously announced (see press release on 23rd December 2022), the plant, built in 2022, is currently in the start-up phase, and will have an estimated annual production of around 50 GWh, corresponding to over 2000 equivalent hours, one of the highest in Europe.

Through this operation, ERG will achieve an expected installed capacity of 266 MWp in Spain by the end of the year, consolidating its position in the country in line with the geographical and technological diversification targets set out in the 2022-2026 Business Plan
