ENGIE signs an agreement to purchase 103 MW of wind assets in Poland

ENGIE in Poland, from the international  ENGIE Group, operating in the field of low-emission energy and services, signed a conditional agreement with RP GLOBAL HOLDING POLAND SL and MARGUERITE WIND POLSKA SARL for the purchase of 103 MW of onshore wind farms. The closing of the transaction is conditional on obtaining consent from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

ENGIE's activity in Poland is based, among others, on on: development, investments and management of renewable projects and electricity trading. As a result of this transaction, the Company will own and operate assets related to the generation of renewable energy from onshore wind farms and photovoltaic farms, with a total capacity of 323 MW, and will continue to develop, with a significant portfolio of projects ahead of it.

Piotr Rogóż – President of the Management Board of ENGIE Zielona Energia said: “Thanks to this acquisition, we are developing our assets in Poland in the field of wind projects. The transaction for the purchase of wind farms that has just been signed adds another 103 MW to our portfolio of onshore wind projects.”
