(Jarkata Globe) Pertamina said on Monday it had resumed production at its two crude distillation units (CDU) at its Cilacap refinery, which have a total capacity 348,000 barrels per day (bpd). Production was halted last week after a fire at three component storage tanks. Edi Setianto,  Pertamina's refinery director, said that one CDU with total capacity of 230,000 bpd started production on April 8 and the other with capacity of 118,000 bpd restarted on April 9. The Cilacap refinery is Pertamina's biggest refinery, producing gasoline, diesel, kerosene and other fuel. Fire broke out at one high octane mogas component tank on April 2 and later spread to two adjacent naphtha tanks. It took five days for Pertamina to put the fire out completely.
